Founded in 2013 in the cultural heart of Bangalore, Kalaantariksham Nrithyakshetra emerged from a passionate vision to preserve and promote the authentic traditions of Bharathanatyam dance and Carnatic music. Our journey began with a small group of dedicated students and has grown into one of South India's most respected classical arts institutions.
The name "Kalaantariksham" derives from Sanskrit, meaning "the inner space of art" - reflecting our belief that true artistic expression comes from within. "Nrithyakshetra" signifies "the field of dance," representing our dedication to providing a nurturing ground for artistic growth.
